Online 12 Week Lifestyle Makeover!
At last! An affordable, practical and supportive environment where you can study at your convenience, make immediate and powerful changes to your life and hopefully make a few new "Facebook Friends"!
I have designed an online training program (for want of a better word) whereby every Friday night I will put up a new module for the week. The module will concentrate on what I deem to be the most important reasons for ill health in our society. We will have quick fixes (so you see immediate results) plus lots and lots of room for discussion and clarification as we are on an interactive medium (Facebook!).
You will have access to myself and all of the other members for advice, support and general sharing of ideas 24hours a day (oh bless Facebook!)
So, for less than the cost of 2 cups of takeaway coffee, a gym session or a nasty packet of smokes per week, let's change our lives! A brief overview below:
Week 1 - Where Am I Now? (Next course starts Friday 20th January 2012)
The first week we take stock of our lives, where we are, where we want to be and how to get there. We take measurements (if you want!), we take stock of our cupboards, fridges and pantries, our medicine chests and our childrens' stuff. This is just a starting point, as without a starting point, you can not plot a course!
Week 2 - I know you want a quick fix!
As reluctant as I am about "quick fixes" I have found a short term way of eating that can give you healthy and sustainable weight loss. I will explain the "slow carb" diet this week and get you started.
Week 3 - Food!
What is it, how has it changed, how do those changes affect you and how can you change those changes! Never go on a crash diet again after reading this!
Week 4 - Exercise!
What is it, why we need it (the real reasons, not just so we can fit into our jeans!), how to pick one you like and stick to it! As well as the types you probably don't do now, but need to!
Week 5 - Detox Your Cupboards!
This week we will focus on another major cause of illness, household toxicity. What to look for, the changes to make and how to implement them.
Week 6 - On The Hunt for Additives!
We take a close look at EVERYTHING in our cupboards, pantry and fridge this week, and look at nutrition panels and labels. How to read, what to look for, and what to buy from now on.
Week 7 - It's All About Kids!
A specific look at kids, their needs and frailties and how we can support them in the quest for good health.
Week 8 - Medications and Alternative Therapies!
This week we dissect the medicine chest, and our bodies, to see if we can cure what ails us but with a softer, safer approach.
Week 9 - Recipe Makeovers and Kitchen Tips.
We take our favourite recipes (I'll have members post them the week prior) and up-health them! You don't have to give up your favourites! Also chock full of tips on getting the most quality and nutrition from your food.
Week 10 - The Unrecognised Importance of Sleep!
Lack of sleep doesn't just give you nasty bags under your eyes, it is a serious health condition in this day and age. We look at why it's important, the causes for not doing it, and hopefully some cures for you!
Week 11 - Relationships - How Important are They to our Health?
We all know relationships are important to our quality of social life, but just how important are they to our health? Extremely! We look at why and how to improve or enrich those ones that perhaps aren't being so "conducive" to our health!
Week 12 - It's a Wrap!
We revise the previous 11 weeks, highlighting all of the most important points, adding a few last minute tips, consolidating our thoughts and actions and perhaps getting a little bit emotional as we say goodbye to each other!
